Appropriation Film.
This work is based on popular Hollywood film called, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." I concentrated on the concepts of psychoanalysis that address subjectivity of gender, eroticism, and unconscious gaze. The key for this piece is to examine socially constructed ideas of gender. In the piece, I re-directed the gaze away from heterosexual towards homosexual by re-defining the structure of frame.
